Horror Double Feature: The Curse of Frankenstein & Taste the Blood of Dracula
"Taste the blood of Dracula" has a tight plot, great acting, and high production values. Any movie with Christopher Lee is always worth viewing … and this one hits a high-mark.
"The curse of Frankenstein" stars the immortal Peter Cushing; as well as Christopher Lee. The plot isn't as well-written as Dracula, involving a completely non-engaging sub-plot between the wife of Baron Frankenstein and his lab assistant and an affair between the maid and Baron Frankenstein. By the end, I found myself without sympathy for most of the main characters. Lots of lessons of what not to do for novice screenplay writers.
"Taste the blood of Dracula" is a real treasure and the reason to buy this double feature.

Understanding Jazz Guitar
This is an excellent glimpse into the mind-set of the great jazz guitarist Joe Pass. He explains and demonstrates the use of chord substitutions; over a simple 12 bar blues in G he slowly develops the use of color tones, pedal tones, guide tones, etc. His style seems almost off-the-cuff; however, the information being provided to the audience is anything but spurious or lacking depth. He takes you to a level of musical thinking that for many regular guitarists will be like entering a whole new world. An illuminating and highly recommended DVD for those of us just beginning to learn jazz guitar.

Don't buy this side table.
The assembly instructions aren't easy to follow. Table kept toppling during assemblage and coming apart. The screws (A) don't fit many of the holes. The exiting holes for the screws are too shallow in many cases. There are absolutely no printed directions. No estimated assembly time. No assembly "tips" to make assembly easier.
