self-sealing inner tube

Works well with stainless steel
I used this flux along with Harris 1/16" dia, 45% silver solder for brazing a 1/2" dia stainless steel tube to a 1" square stainless steel tube and It worked great. Clean both pieces and apply a small ring of flux around the base of the tube. Heat all around the base of the 1/2" dia tube with a oxy / acetylene torch. When the flux melts, feed in the silver solder rod and it should flow easily around the base of the tube. Feed in around the base to complete the circumference. After brazing, while the metal is still hot, use a stainless steel brush with water to clean the majority of the flux off. Finish with an abrasive tool to do a complete cleaning.

Great gloves
The gloves are made from deer hide which is softer and tougher than cow hide. This is my second set of Churchill gloves. Luckily, the tag inside the glove was still readable so I could search for a vendor that carried this brand. Plus,,,, they are made in the U.S.A.
