There really is 'Trouble at t' Mill'!
This is a great parody of old-style 'grim up North'/'Trouble at t' Mill' (and other) dramas from the early '80s. I had forgotten about it, until catching part of an episode on one of the 'vintage TV' channels. So glad to have found this DVD of the complete series, because I'm not sure how much I watched back in the day. Great to be watching it again and it still makes me laugh, as the gags come thick and fast. It has a super cast, especially the excellent Timothy West, and Geoffrey Hinsliff was a great comic actor (shame he got stuck in the Coronation Street misery-fest!). It will make me sound an old curmudgeon, but they really don't make comedy shows like this any more!

A slim volume with lots of detail
An excellent compact volume on the recruitment, organisation and employment of British and German cavalry in the opening weeks of the First World War, with several engagements examined in detail. As is the usual case with these slim Osprey volumes, it packs in a lot of information and is well stocked with contemporary images and excellent colour plates and maps. For further reading there is a comprehensive bibliography.

If you want to label food, these do the job!
These paper flags look neat, are well made and have enough space on to write a reasonable description. We used them to label cakes at a wedding and they look quite classy.
