Bob Newhart: without an equal today.
Bob Newhart is a fine example of a comedian who could get his product across without the use of shouted obscenities and foul language. His routines are well composed, funny yes, but thoughtful too. This is 'old stuff' of course, but still witty and clever. It has survived many years.
