Worked better than expected
This worked very well considering the small size. Light weight, very easy to assemble. Best for a small lawn. I was concerned about stressing the motor so I did the lawn in sections. There is a learning curve with the power cord placement and the actual dethatching bar is narrower than one might think. I used the highest setting and removed a large amount of thatch. Pulled 15 wheel barrels full of thatch out of a half of an acre. I tried to do the lawn by hand with a thatching rake, very labor intensive and the rake was a third of the cost of his machine.
