Non-standard thread and malleability make this a poor cleaning rod.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich I own a Kleen-Bore .30 cal rod, which I like a lot, so I didn't think I had much to consider when ordering this .17 cal rod - not the case. Kleen-Bore does not publish the thread size on the packaging so it was not listed in the post. I suspect the reason for this is because if customers knew it has a 3x48 thread no one would buy it.
It came with a bore mop, brass jag and bronze brush which were not listed in the description. Kleen-Bore probably added this to keep customers from returning it because 3x48 attachments are really hard to find.
As far as the quality of the rod goes, the metal is fairly soft so if you flex it, even a little, it does not return to straight.
This rod is a big disappointment. Spend a few extra bucks to get standard 5x40 thread and better quality.

Went to the range
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Very clear, great low light visibility. Put this on my Ruger American Predator .204Ruger and went to the range. Sighted in 3 shots and then shot five 3 shot groups at 100yds. All moa and 2 groups were less than 3/4". I am not much of a rifle shooter and this is my first and only varmint rifle but as far as I can tell, the scope is flawless. I have not worked out the NIkon BDC/Spot on ballistics yet.

Works Perfectly
With the original Ruger Mark II extractor, I was experiencing about one FTE every magazine. Installed the Exact Edge extractor in about 5 minutes - very easy, DIY replacement (look for youtube video). So far, 250 rounds of cheap bulk ammo from four manufacturers with no malfunctions.
