Great fit, sound, and build quality; only minor connectivity annoyances with older Macs

The fit is super comfortable, the sound quality is excellent for headphones of this price, and the microphone rocks! Being able to mix Bluetooth and wired connections is clutch as well. Build quality is super solid and they seem reasonably repairable as well. I have only 2 small connectivity issues with this headset. First, the Bluetooth audio quality from my Mac drops significantly when the microphone is activated; I guess bidirectional audio uses too much bandwidth. I expect this is a problem with how macOS handles Bluetooth audio and not with the headset, but know that the BT connection on a Mac might not be the best. Second, the y-splitter cable for dual 3.5mm mic and headphone jacks works, but seems not to connect with all jacks. On my MacBook Pro with a Line In and Headphone Out port, the headphones work but the Line In doesn't register at all. The same thing happens when connecting to an external audio interface. It works with a little USB audio in/out dongle that I have, so I know it functions, so I don't know why this problem happens. All in all, these are only minor inconveniences and may not even be an issue with other computers, but they make it just barely short of 5 stars for me.

Great quality and features at a reasonable price point

Scarlett interfaces are the bomb—good preamps, enough control and flexibility, and low latency. Ideal for a portable recording setup or small home studios.

doesn't stay attached

The suction cup/adhesive isn't strong enough to support the weight of the bracket even without a phone in it. Useless, even though the phone clamp part looks like it would be good
