Easy to use great value and safety for the money

Seems to be robust enough to handle rough conditions, such as snow and rain. I have not yet put it to the test there.
It did fail to send one check-in message when I used it on a hike. Not sure if it was operator error or if satellite coverage was missing. The second check-in worked fine from essentially the same location.
