Better Than the Typical Coffee Table Book
This large format book contains not only wonderful photos, but terrific stories as well. Normally large format books contain just "pretty pictures", but this book has much more. Though this is obviously aimed at golf fans, it would be enjoyed by anyone who wants to know more about Scotland and Ireland.

Excellent Read (or in my case "listen")
I purchased this book on CD. It is an excellent book detailing life in wartime London. One need not be a war buff to enjoy this book. Many well and lesser known figures of this time are discussed. Sure you know Roosevelt and Churchill, but what about Gil Winant? You will appreciate the the hardiness of Londoners during the war to an even greater extent. Very entertaining book.
