Last Of The Independents - The Pretenders
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I'm a Pretenders Fan. Although Chrissie has put out better albums / material - this has a couple of good cuts. She's one of the few females who can actually pull off being a true rock and roll vocalist.

2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I decided to buy it based on how much I enjoy Hot Tuna. I was a bit disappointed as my expectations were a fairly high, due to how much I enjoy Hot Tuna. There are some decent cuts.

Outstanding tunes that shouldn't be missed
I 1st heard Jo Miller when she was with a band called Ranch Romance - and I recommend their 3 CD's as well. Jo has a great voice and the musicians she has surrounded herself with are excellent. The CD "Live And Then Some" is one of those treasures for those who appreciate well played songs through and through. The band primarily consists of former Ranch Romance members and once again, they've done an excellent job of putting out more killer music. The band is tight, and combined with Jo's vocals, this CD is a "can't miss" for those true music affectionados. My biggest disappointment is that they don't have more music out there to enjoy.
