Classic that's back in vogue
XL size when they came out but now it's the mainstream preferred size with Jawbreakers. Happy to grab extra lenses for this discontinued beauty.... wish there was a photochromic around then

Just right for a gravel/ adventure biker with fatter than Cyclo tyres
Perfect crossover sizing. Gravel & adventure bikes (sorry if you're fed up with all the pigeon-holing with names). Decent balance of weight and durability.

Great combo grip tyre for mixed surfaces (not for deep mud)
Black Chilli compound is super grippy. High tack on the paved areas even though there are fewer surface contact patches.
Pros:
-super grippy combo tyre
-Pops on the rim fairly easily
Cons:
these are not cheap tyres
N.B.
I bought a 700x40c Terra Trail and it works out as a 38mm on my vernier calipers.
The compound is trading durability for grip so it may well wear faster on paved areas than normal summer tyres.
Weight is normal but not heavy
