Sized wrong, not genuine
Not only are these Birkenstocks sized wrong, they’re not even authentic. I’ve owned many others over the years & bought the exact same pair -same size & style except in black-a few months ago and, as usual, they fit perfectly. Even though these say they’re a 36, they are at least an entire size larger and feel nothing like genuine Birks. I’ve had everyone I know within that size range try them on & they all agree. I’ll definitely be sending them back.
