Not what it should be
This sleeve tore at the seam immediately. Poor quality.

Foam deficient but a good design.
It is a good design. However, the foam is NOT 2 3/4 " More like 1 3/4. The foam is also NOT that high density. I am going to look for another higher density foam to fit inside the pad cover. The price was well over what it should have been with the foam as it was. Overpriced.

The size and function makes the difference
The top surface is deep enough for larger 1250 watt microwaves and more. Good looking and functional kitchen island.
