Very entertaining, but not the best in class
This is a great little addition to any O gauge system. However, there are many variants of the rotary snowplow. The 6-8459 is a very basic version. If that's what you want, this should be rated 5 stars, but don't overpay. If you need more ornamentation like lights or a hanging metal bell, there are other versions. This one deserves one less star just as a kind of caution.

works for different power configurations
The device works as advertised. I appreciate having separate power, which permits the vacuum to be on a separate circuit from the tool, potentially avoiding amperage surges when turned on. However, it is possible to plug the vacuum cord into the second outlet in order to make the switch function properly using only one input power cord.
