Exactly what I wanted
6 von 6 finden das hilfreich I grew up using a Kenmore Mini Ultra, and when it broke (from knocking it off a table; it was reliable with heavy use for eleven years) I struggled to replace it. The Janome is the same machine in a different casing.
It's a smaller size sewing machine than the standard. The bobbin is a forward loading rather than a drop in. Neither of these, in my opinion, make this machine difficult to use. The stitching options available are more than sufficient for a wide variety of uses, and it is even capable of making buttonholes. I've sewed corset boning, invisible zippers, and huge ruffled skirts on this machine.
