Good tool for an awkward job
Depending on your particular application, this may be the best tool for the job. Six points of contact with the sensor minimizes the possibility of rounding off the flats. Eight point, rather than four, on the drive socket portion maximizes options in crowded situations.
The tool is well made and finished. Hefty and robust in feel - not likely to fail in heavy torque applications.
Sidebar: With my 1998 Ford Ranger 4.0l, I removed the front wheels, the engine splash shields, and the plastic fender liners. This made access to the sensor, and more important the connector, clean and easy.

Genuine Motorcraft
This is a Motorcraft part, however it is a Bosch sensor. Ford dealership wanted $145. for this part! The equivalent Bosch part would probably serve just as well and might be less expensive. (be sure that the wire lead is of sufficient length) With this one, the alignment nubs on the electrical connection did not mate with the female connector in my vehicle; I simply cut them off and sanded down the residual portion. The four pin connector aligned perfectly. I have installed the part and it seems to be working - no more "check engine light" and the vehicle passed inspection. This part installs on the exhaust pipe after the Catalytic convertor. FIY The other sensors install on the header pipes. I removed the tire, engine splash shield, and the fender liner. This was the hardest part of the job which would otherwise be quite difficult. see photos of left and right side of engine.

Best tool for the job
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Changing the serpentine belt on a transverse mounted engine is a different animal.
This set is what you need to get the job done, along with the usual youtube video viewing. Chances are that I will only use one of the drivers in my lifetime, but paying a little extra for the additional drivers was a small price to pay to get a quality, USA made product.
I did end up using the additional arm. Made all the difference.
