What I feel it needed.
I enjoy the game. I also have The Show 15 & 16. Which I look forward to playing when I go to advance to the next season. The problems that I did find on the game is as follows. When on base if the pitcher tries to pick you off and you make it back safe you earn no points. But if he picks you off you lose points. Also when you are playing as a pitcher sometimes it doesn't give you credit for a hit or any points for it. Well since points is what you need to increase your players attributes. It does not help if it does not give you the points. If you play as a catcher and the pitch is in the dirt and you block it but it doesn't stay in your glove you lose points. I feel that you should earn at least 1 or 2 points for keeping the ball from going past you. Now if you let a ball get past you that you should have fielded then take 3 to 5 points away. Also when runners are on first and second with less then 2 outs. As an infielder, lets say first baseman. A hard hit ball goes to you and you have a chance to get the runner moving from 2nd to 3rd. It gives you an infield assist. But then takes points for bad throw decision. Either throw to 2nd or 3rd is the right choice. You may have seen that the runner that hit the ball has a high speed rating. So there was no chance to turn the double play. So you chose to force the other team to get a hit instead of a fly ball or ground ball to score that run. Also why doesn't the character you are playing giving the chance to attempt to steal very often. I have a player with a speed rating of 78. Has never been given the steal sign or even a hit and run sign. That is just a few bugs in the system I have noted. Don't get me wrong I love the game. It is as close to realistic as you can get. I know people can't think of everything that could happen on a field or every thing you could have that player do. So overall I still give it 5 stars.
