Great Britpop vocals and production, needs songs.
Great cover; one of my favorite vocalists (though I never heard him before); production is great; guitarist is great; songs are not great overall.

Lost Classic Found!
Another great album by one of the greatest unsung bands. This album was nearly lost in forever, but fortunately the one known surviving copy, once lost was found. Eventually, the album, destroyed in the fire that destroyed the studio where it was recorded and made by a label that went defunct was eventually released by a German label. As a fan of the band, I am really thrilled to finally have a copy.

Monkeys Music Box Rocks
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich There are albums that I have on vinyl that I would not give up. There are albums that are fine on CD for me. There are some that I have multiple copies in different formats. I had the first four Monkees albums as a kid. As I was growing up I was a bit embarrassed about them and gave them away. Many years later I started replacing them. So, when I came across Music Box, I saw that it had pretty much all of the material that I cared about. I don’t need The Monkees on vinyl. The people who put the collection together are not only super knowledgeable fans, but have done this before and they did a great job. Now I have all my favorite Monkees tracks in one convenient collection on CD. I don’t love all of the tunes, but all of the tunes I love are there. For casual or serious fans, Music Box is a great choice.
