I've run many 2 stroke engines on many different oils... Love this stuff.
Over the years, I have owned and abused plenty of 2-cycle engines: chainsaws, dirt bikes, jet skis, weed whackers, r/c gasoline buggies, etc, etc etc. I have run all sorts of oils over the years too. I have to say that the Klotz brand oil has been excellent and one of my favorites. Use their correct 2 stroke formula in the correct 2 stroke application and I ASSURE you that you will ever have a premature engine failure or problem due to the quality of their oil. I pull the jugs off often(becasue its easy) to check for cylinder wear, replace rings, etc. There are a few oils that are DEFINATELY above others in terms of wear protection. This review is for Klotz specifically so I will be honest and say that when I pull my Klotz engines apart, never once has anything looked abnormal due to the oil, specifically. I replace rings as per the mfg maintenance schedule but I also drive FULL THROTTLE MOST OF THE TIME. My engines are tuned correctly and run great. :) I have had problems with other oils so I do have a variance in my personal comparison..... I can attest that I have other excellent reviews of other oils also.... This definitely ties for first place with them.... BUT, nothing smells quite like Klotz so that may be a bump into a definitive 1st place. :) Buy this stuff, hammer down and forget about premature engine problemos.
