Non working key pad

I got this for paperwork and computer backup hard drive. My Home safe is rated at 1550 degrees for 80min. So I wanted something that was also insulated for one more layer of protection. I needed to fit documents! (note book paper fits easy yellow legal pad size is bended at the end) it needed to hold passports and hard drives and it does. The key lock works just fin however I could not get the key pad to work. I just would not lock? But for the price and the size that fits in the bitten of a home safe adding one more layer of document and electronics protection? Works!
