Now Apple Fiber with Pectin 12 oz

Now Foods apple fiber & pectin, no sugar added!

This stuff is a little pricey, but is a good source of added fiber. Like other brands, it has a somewhat sweet but pleasant apple flavor. However, it is low in carbs (other than the fiber, which is not absorbed). And it has NO ADDED SUGAR. Compare to psyllium, which is also a great fiber, but has become expensive. Psyllium powder is tasteless. Unfortunately, most brands are adulterated with a lot of added sugar (sugar is cheaper than psyllium), or else loaded with artificial sweeteners and flavoring. I imagine that most people who are taking extra fiber are concerned about their health. If that is the case, added sugar and other chemicals are best avoided.

Explains newer and safer approaches to evaluation and treatment of suspected, or confirmed prostate cancer. If possible, read this before you have a biopsy. The random biopsy may cause significant adverse effects (pain, infection, impotence). The 3T MRI, properly performed, may avoid need for a biopsy, or may provide direction for performance of a targeted biopsy, requiring much fewer sites. Also described are effective and much safer alternatives to a radical prostatectomy procedure, for treatment of prostate cancer. Often, the best treatment for prostate cancer is no treatment, because while prostate cancer can be very serious, most will never grow or spread.
