Smoother gear change
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich Took about 30/40 mins to remove old and put in new. To clip the gear linkage together you need to put a short socket under the bit where it needs tapping in- but put the short bit of plastic in on the side 1st. It's worth taking the small surround off, lift up the small plastic bit under the handbrake, then undo the the 2 screws then the surround clips off. X8r have a video of the step by step, just have a bit of grease to hand before you take apart. It's made the gears smoother. Keep it in neutral before u start as it will make sense where to position the mechanism when resembling. Also when you put the metal U-clip back in at the end put it between the ridges as I pushed mine all the way in and gear shift wouldn't move so moved it out and all good
