You just had to be there...........
If you did South Florida through the '80's ....whenever you hear Glenn Frey, Gloria Estefan, Sade, ....or The King of the Swamp himself, MR. DON HENLEY, it's pastel colors and bright white buildings, fast cars and steamy exciting nights all over again. And don't forget the big hair and Don Johnson.., and, well, ... okay......Jimmy Buffet These songs will put you right back there!

"Slip me the juice, Bruce!"
I used these Cables to fire up my D8 Dozer from my KW Tractor. The Dozer batteries were dead as a door nail, due to the lights having been left "On" for three weeks. I made the connection from the KW to the Dozer, and then just let the KW idle for 45 minutes. The Amps going through the 2 Gauge Cable made it warm to the touch, but by no means "Hot". After the 45 minutes where up, I hit the starter button on the Dozer and the Starter Motor spun with full strength and she fired right up. Luckily, the Dozer batteries were not significantly damaged, as they continued to recharge (and hold) juice supplied by the Dozer's own alternator. The 20' length of the cables made things that much easier for me. I didn't have to try to park the KW on top of the Dozer. Thanks!

PROLONGED ROUGH SERVICE
I am a trucker. I deliver to W-m's & Lows Garden Centers all night and into the morning. I work alone and I unload the trailer in a dark parking lot and in a dark trailer. I got my first Dorcy 41-2097 for Xmas, 5 years ago. I use it for many hours each night, in all kinds of weather and humidity and temperatures. This lite is bright ( I can see across the parking lot with it) and lightweight and small. You can easily wear your cap over it.., or rain coat w/hood. I change out the batteries every 3 to 4 weeks (3 AAA). The rubberized switch has remained completely sealed for all these years and several thousands of hours of use. It gets tossed around in the cab sometimes, although I do try to be careful with it. There may be other Headlights out there that are as good or better than this, but I'm not interested in them. I'm sold on this one. This lite has lasted the way that things used to last from back in the thirties and forties. I hope that Dorcy keeps making them. Don't change a thing, Dorcy, you've got this one right! The reason that I am now purchasing a replacement unit for my aged unit is that the switch contacts are finally wearing out and it is getting finicky about switching.., but heck, I am sure that I switch the thing at least a hundred times per night. Anyway, enough said, End of Report! Gitcha one.
