Easy to install, excellent size.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich This is a decent sized safe, able to store several A4 binders. It also has a removable shelf. I couldn't find details of pre-installed security bolt holes. Don't bother phoning Yale, they don't answer the phone. Regardless, I went ahead with the purchase.
Security bolt holes are available on the safe base, ( 4 holes), and the rear wall (4 holes). Four coach type screws and rawlplugs are supplied.
I'm not a fan of "Euro-instructions", but the supplied information is fairly easy to follow. Likewise, installing the supplied batteries and inputting a code number is quite straight-forward.
Supplied by Folkstone Fixings, this Company followed my request for the safe to be delivered to me on a specific day. The courier (DPD) was superb.

Like for like replacement
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich Several of these fans are installed in my home, so it makes sense to have a like for like replacement when an original fails. (Nothing worse than not being able to utilise screw holes from previous unit!).
The supplier, MCD Electrical, gave me sound advice regarding a slightly different model to an existing unit. I took their advice, purchased the unit, and installed it within 15 minutes.
I find these fans to be quite efficient, producing good airflow compared to other manufacturers fans.
I like the fact that Greenwood have not altered the built in cable run, the cable requirements, or the body screw fixing points.

Easy to fit transformer
Yet another of the G4 light units has failed in my house. Past experience from other light failures, (all installed around 6 years ago), is that the transformer in the lamp base has failed.
I have previously used Aurora transformers for replacements.
All you need to do is get the light unit disconnected from the power supply. Get it down off the ceiling. Check details of failed transformer, diameter and depth, max wattage etc.
Order up the appropriately sized (dimensions and wattage) transformer.
It really is an easy job to install the new transformer. If you can correctly wire a plug, you can do this.
