Talk on Corners -- Not just standing around
I bought this CD after listening to the Corrs' arrangement of the traditional song "I know my Love" on a Chieftains CD. I read a bit about them online and then found this CD. I have not been disappointing. Their lead singer's voice is easy to listen to and I love the instrumentation; the blend of pop sound with the traditional Irish instruments, drum, fiddle and penny whistle blend well together. I really like their version of Stevie Nicks' "Dreams." My favorite song so far on the album is "What can I do?"
Final word: the album is fun, easy to listen to while driving, doing housework or at a party. The lyrics tend to be light not deep, but worth having in your collection.

Other People's Money, a movie for its time
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I watch OPM when it first came out. it was a film for it's time. Great stockholders' meeting speech at the end, but other than that somewhat far-fetched. Still, entertaining and worth watching.
