Works with a couple modifications

I’ve got an ‘02 54C deck; this gearbox works with a couple modifications: 1) you can only use 2 bottom bolts on the back face plate vs the original 4; 2) the front flange on the driveshaft side is too large for the attaching bracket, so I had to cut/file out about 1/4” of my bracket to make it fit. Other than that, I’ve used it for a total of 4 hours and it seems to be doing fine.
