I bought this item as I had a problem trying to mount my GPS to the crazy dash of my motorhome. I went back and forth looking at all kind of crazy options before I saw this. I wasn't sure it would work, but I gave it a try. It works crazy awesome on my curved, non-solid surface dash. Had it mounted (7" huge GPS) on our trip. Bounced and banged around like crazy, but it held. I'm a believer. Sweet and cheap fix.

Good replacement

I needed a replacement for another MLX 2 that I had in which the fast forward button had stopped working. This worked perfectly. The back was very tacky, but I cleaned it up with some rubbing alcohol.
