Really good interesting read
Bought this because i have most of the forgotten voices books . It's good to see history told by the people who were there.I love the way people tell their near death experiences in such a casual way.The only reason this book is not excellent in my opinion is because i put it up against the forgotten voices of the first world war which i believe to be excellent.Still this is a very good book.Great if you are doing other things as well as it is easy to put down as lots of the book is in short stories told by people who were there.A great insight into modern history.Would be useful for children to read to help with homework as well because it tells both multiple angles of the story (British,German,Military and civilian).
