Tiller operated motor install
I installed the trim unit on my 14’ Mirrocraft with a tiller operated 25 hp Mercury. The installation on the transom was fairly easy. The wiring was another story. There is way too much wiring for the installation of the switch at the transom. Shortening the wiring was completed with a few minor hiccups. The cable from the relays was another story... the sheath on the cable was molded around the wires which made shortening the cable a challenge to avoid nicking the wires. I suggest the manufacture provide a kit for rear-mounted switch control. All in all I am very pleased with the outcome.
