Strikes a good balance.

A very good amp - whether at full rrp or not. Strikes a better balance than competitors at the price - and you can up the ante by bi-amping with an 8P or 9P etc to good [and relatively cheap] effect. Still the best of the sub-£800 crop to my ears.

Hidden gems.

Fantastic small speakers that actually work well near/against walls, in smaller spaces. Team with 'warmer'-sounding sources and amps (Arcam, Roksan for examples) and you have a set up that will punch way above its weight.. These blew away the other similar sized speakers we tried, which either sounded cardboardy/boxy or without the dynamics and stereo soundstage these have. A hidden classic.

Worth the effort.

A bit tricky to muscle into place without breaking into a bit of a sweat, but worth the effort as there are subtle but real improvements in sound.
