Typical 70s & 80s Aircraft Model Kit
I bought this kit to build the same kit that I built as a teenager in the 1980s. Details are actually pretty good for this time period. The worst part of the build was where the front gear bay fits into the lower fuselsge. There are gaps galore that need to be filled. Also, the gun bay door will need to be filed and fitted if you plan to build the model with it in the closed position. Wing gaps in the lower fuselage where the rear of the wing fits into the fuselage will also need to be filled. The version of the plane in the box is an F-86F10. If you plan on building this version the wing fences on the upper wings will need to be removed. If you keep them, you will have an F-86F35 and the decals included will be incorrect. You might want to order the correct decals online.

Just What I Needed
This is the NSN for the shorter M4 carbine. The M16 sling is about 6 inches longer and is a different NSN. You can't go wrong with the standard milspec nylon sling but it does take quite a bit of adjustment to get it to the correct length.
