Good watch but only 13 months of use from quartz movement
I very much enjoyed this styling and functionality of the Wenger Sea Force watch. Ultimately I can only give one star because of the lack of durability of the quartz movement. I wore the watch nearly every day for 13 months when the quartz movement gave out and yes, I confirmed it was not the battery with a battery replacement. I was very impressed that the sapphire bezel and stainless case showed no wear after my heavy use. Ultimately the quartz movement is disappointing to say the least to what is otherwise a quality watch.
I reached out to Wenger/Swiss Gear to see if they would honor their 3 year warrantee (or 10 year if I had purchased directly from Swiss Gear). I received what I think is an automated response to the warrantee request although it indicated the Taylor from Customer Support was on my case. I have now waited more that two months with no response and multiple follow up emails without a response. If I could rate Wenger customer service I cannot give them even one star as they have been totally unresponsive. I would actually be very accepting if they would just reject my request rather that waste my time with a bogus warrantee. It appears that Wenger cannot even stand behind their product enough to respond to an email or warrantee request.
