A Man Called Otto is a Grand Torino style redemption without the violent ending.
I loved this book and thought it couldn't be filmed. As always, Tom Hankins brought it tenderly to fruition with a fine supporting cast and setting.

About Schmidt remained totally about what happens around, and inside, a man on his RV journey.
Bates and Nicholson were near the peak of their careers, again! What a great idea to put them in a film together. Wonderful plot as well.
