Truly a great American novel. The best account I have ever read of life as a immigrant in New York circa world War 1.

A great fun ride
A great story in the vein of dashiell hammett. Very well written and translated with snappy dialogue and crazy plot lines.

great easy to read guide to building and remodeling

this is a great book for the beginning re-modeler or the person wanting to build a garage or small house.
there are some things missing on plumbing and electrical work, but all in all a good value.
