Genuine GI surplus, in great condition.
Product was listed as 'Good' when there were other listings as 'Excellent'. I don't know how much better my 'Good' canteen cover could get. It was in perfect condition. The cover I received was genuine surplus with hardly any noticeable wear. US stencil on front was in perfect condition, the ALICE clips were brand new. There were a couple small threads sticking out from the stitching, but that is absolutely normal even for brand new military surplus. The only thing that would make these a more functional item is if they were MOLLE attachments. But they are genuine surplus, so the ALICE clips will work just fine. Your surplus GI canteen nested in the typical canteen cup (with either folding handle or butterfly handle) will fit in this perfectly, no problems.
