If you have a tendency to blame your machine for your anxiety to sew,… as have I. Get this book and have a relationship with your machine. Appreciate what it can and can not do. Take care of it as a friend and move on to create beautiful things. Charlene Phillips filled in the gap for me and my many machines that I now can use effectively!!!

Big book of Kombucha

I need to encourage readers to go to the Kombucha Kamp website. Some information in the book is contradicted on their site. The use of Green tea for Jun tea is compatible with raw honey. Overall I will use this book all my brewing time on this earth. 😊

How Much is Enough?

I bought this book because the author is awesome. Her books have been conversional for me. I did not buy it because I thought I was indulgent with my children. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had more to learn. Parents should read ALL of Jean Illsley Clarkes books. The parenting she encourages is common sense that most of us were not raised with. How Much is Enough? isn't just about toys or goodies, it is about how much parents give to their children in time, talent, emotions, affection, and of course, material goods. Even if you think you are a fair parent, I recommend the book. We are an indulgent society and we could be so much MORE if we had less of everything, recognizing that we have so little time we should spend it on what is most important.
