Jim Reeves is a musical legend. When Jim joined RCA, record producer Chet Atkins re-invented Jim and the hits just followed. The Best of Jim Reeves contains tracks that show Jim Reeves changing from an average counry singer to a great balladeer. Just listen to the live version of the Jimmy Rodgers classic "Waitin For a Train" and you get to hear the potential that Jim had before the RCA catalogue and of course "Welcome To My World" with other great hits including "I Love You Because", "He'll Have To Go" and "When Two Worlds Collide".
If any body wants a Jim Reeves CD this is the one to get.

THe Bee Gees Number Ones is Number 1
The Bee Gees made a huge contribution to the world of not just pop music but much more. From early songs that almost have a folk music feel to disco to power ballads plus there song writing skills that have brought success for other artists.
This CD runs the whole gamut with Robin Gibb's soulful, plaintive voice and older brother Barry Gibb's stronger, crisper
vocal. Just listen to Barry's strong delivery on "I've Just Gotta Get A Message To You" or "Words". Robin's solo on "I Started A Joke" seems to create an image of a sad clown but when Maurice teams in on the disco sound, they were reborn with massive hits like "Night Fever" and "Staying Alive" and moving on to another massive hit "Islands In The Stream" which was not only a massive country hit but kept Kenny Rogers in the pop charts with Dolly Parton. I am so glad to Possess Bee Gees Number Ones CD.
