You can always trust Fel-Pro!
Fel-Pro are great; they continue to make improvements to their products, even for older vehicles such as mine. Fit was perfect, installation was a breeze.

Bought as a backup
This is a very sturdy basic phone, which is all I need for voice and text. I have already dropped my present one enough times that I wanted to have a backup unit just in case, and my provider no longer offers this model. It was easy to get an unlock code so now I can also use it with a different SIM card if I want to. The battery life is great, more than a week on standby, but I am not using all of its features such as data, wifi or GPS.

Watch your Kool-Stop colors!
The Salmon color is not just decorative!
I have been using Kool Stop pads for many years. Kool Stop claims that the salmon pads are intended for all weather conditions, but for me this softer compound is especially good for winter use, in the rain and cold.
When you're installing your new salmon pads, be sure to thoroughly clean your rims (rubbing alcohol recommended), and pay careful attention to the alignment, otherwise these pads will tend to grab hard and/or squeal. But it is worth the effort to do this; they are excellent pads. And anyway, you are cleaning and lubing your entire cantilever brake system at the same time, aren't you?
