Baofeng UV-82HP
This is a well built VHF/UHF handheld radio for a very reasonable price. It is loaded with features that add to it's versatility for a short range communication device. It works very well when it is programed for repeater use. Simplex operation is limited to a couple of miles due to the 5 watt output. Programing is best done with a USB cable and CHIRP software. Manual programing can be tedious at best. All in all the Baofeng UV-82HP provides reliable VHF/UHF communication at a very affordable price.
