The Dell Inspiron 1525 is my favorite choice for a good used laptop!

I bought this Dell Inspiron 1525 for a friend who didn't know much about laptops. Since I have been a computer technician since 1982 I was glad to help him out. I have helped several people find a good laptop in the last several years and have recommended the 1525 or the 1545 almost every time. The Dell laptops are easy to find, easy to get repair parts, and the Dell website is easy to use to download the latest software drives for the various hardware (sound, video, chipset, network, etc.). Plus, most of my friends really like the size and the silver keyboard and touchpad area.

Bent by USPS but I made it work

The Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop keyboard arrived bent from the USPS. I was able to straighten it with quite a bit of work and got it installed ok. I just wish it had been packed better and that the Post Office hadn't been so rough on it.
