49 Up
One of the best documentary films out there, it took 42 years to make. The film provides a great sociological look at how a diverse group of Englich children progress throughout their lives, by interviewing them every seven years. They are now 49. Apparently being born with a silver spoon in your mouth does impact what happens later in life. 49 Up shows how these children's attitudes change about childbearing, employment, government as they mature. We also see other people in the lives of our subjects such as their spouses and children. The film follows these individuals as they move from job to job or even relocate overseas. Overall a thoroughly interesting film that should appeal to a wide ranging audience.
