I've been using these for djng since the legendary Sony MTV-700
I prefer the older v700 but this is par with the v700. I tried the rest pioneer, adj, audio technical Schenhiser, and other mother expense ines, still love the Sony x-10's, my 2nd pair in 2 years

Experience was great, smooth and exactly as describe. It was incredible.
The laptop was in excellent condition and only missing memory, hard drive, dvdrw, battery and power supply. This was cleraly stated in the description and the unit was in better than anticipated condition. The LCD and case were near perfect. I had all the parts from my previous Dell D610 which had a fried motherboard. After spending 20 minutes swapping all the above items from my old laptop to this one, it fired right up and I logged into windows after a year and half just like the original. I love this old dog and have a great experience with this product, purchase.

Beware Yellow and Red lights blinking, then bad blu ray drive, only gripes.
This unit was sold as is for parts/not working. Although It was about 50 shipped, and 1st generation (9/2007) it was in very nice shape. Extremely clean rear and all the ports were in excellent shape with no loosening or scratches where the port meets the plastic. Even when i opened it up it was very clean inside (consistently clean, not just certain parts). I was very impressed with the fact that its almost working, except the blu ray drive, which is what I was hoping for (since i had a same 40gb with a 3 month newer production date). unfortunately it happens to be one of the few 40GB ps3's that had 2 different blue ray drives and logic board size/cabling and position are are differfent than my 40gb ps3 with a good blu ray drive and RLOD and the heat gun and re pasting the cpu to heatsnks with the correct procedures resulted in an unsuccessful overheating RLOD repair. I still love the ps3
