Loved it so much I bought several for kids in my church
Much more detailed and many more stories than other childrens bibles. And the illustrations and maps are totally awesome. I also love that this is a bible kids can grow with. Most bibles are either way too hard for kids or way to baby like. The kids love that this one is just right for them. As a minister I would say that its age appropiate from like 7-13 years old, when kids might want to go into a teen bible and then an adult bible. All the kids at my church are getting one from me so they can all have the same valuable info. and it will be much easier to give them bible studies and bible school when they all have the same bibles. My 7 year old son loves it so much he actually sits and reads it by himself and asks for help with the words he don't understand.

My son's fave
I raised my son reading from before birth. And this was his absolute favorite book ever. He had other faves, but this one topped them all. I highly recommend it for all infants and toddlers.

A MUST HAVE FOR ALL HOMES!
I Love this book, we've had it for about 1 1/2 to 2 months now I think and its awesome. I homeschool my son and as part of our daily devotion at the beginning of each day I gave my son this book to read. Since the bible is still hard for him to understand completely at 9 yrs old. It gives a short story each day that helps kids better understand the bible scripture for the day because it puts the scripture into function. The stories are interesting and make the reader really think. Besides the story and verse to memorize, there is a small section called "How About You!" where they ask the child questions that put him to think what he or she would do in that situation so that the child can really analyze the subject which would help in understanding more and learning the point of the devotion for that day. I never have to ask or remind my son to read it anymore, everyday after prayer he automatically picks up the book and starts reading.
I definately recomend this book to all! Not only christians but to all whom are believers of God and his word!Even if you don't regularly "seek God" or go to church, it is everyones responsibility to help their children learn of God, His son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit the word of God, what Christ did for all humanity and more! Remember the word of God teaches great stewardship, morals, love, sharing,and soooo much more! And its up to each parent to put His word in their childs hands, mind and heart. Its a great book to help build good character and learn of Gods word.
My son is 9yrs old but I would say that depending on the reading level this book would be good for self readers age 8-17 and even more up! For guided reading (parents who read to their children) the book would be good for age 6 and up (you just might have to explain a tiny bit more in some parts)
