Godin A6 Ultra Hybrid Guitar

took a chance on the guitar, and i am seriously glad i did. i've owned other godin family guitars and have always loved their necks. same here. sounds loud enough not plugged in...even to give lessons with. amplified, sounds amazing. i have a genz benz shenandoah jr 30w amp that i use it with. having two output jacks comes in handy. i generally run the acoustic output into the amp's effects. humbucker goes into amp's "clean" channel, but thru analog effects first. huge array of sound possibilities with this guitar!!! everytime i play it, i like it more and more. i've been playing about 35 years and have owned just about everything and by everyone. i have no plans on getting rid of this.

Best acoustic strings ever.

I normally use John Pearse or D'Addario strings. Not any more! These Monels have the tone I've always wanted. At first, I didn't like them, but that changed on the second day and every day since. They are awesome!
