Nice for the price
The shelf is rather flimsy but it is nicely made. One of the small rungs holding the longitudinal cross pieces of the shelf broke off when I picked it up by the top shelf. It would do nicely for a few light weigh pairs of shoes or other light items.

OK for light weight, not sure about heavier items.
Bars are metal and appear sturdy but sides (which support the bars and constitute the frame) are flimsy plastic. The sides support total shelf weight; should be sturdier than the individual shelves.

Read this Book. Almost 50 years old, could have been written yesterday.
This is an excellent history of women's reproductive rights in the US. It is well written, easy to read and a good source of information; it provides a perspective from which to understand the larger forces governing public opinion and legislation regarding women's bodies. It is a early work, written in the 1970s, but is far from out of date.
