Works flawlessly
One doesn't have to like Microsoft Corporation, but Office Professional is "the standard." I like to use this version because it works with all of the latest (and much more expensive versions of the Office Suite. Outlook, the mail/calendar/contact software included, works seamlessly with my iPhone, keeping my calendars and contacts up to date. And of course, since everyone uses this software (remember- it's the standard), I can immediately find answers to my questions online when I want to do something I've forgotten how to do.

Excellent product
Bought this unit based on price and the reputation of the seller. I have been very pleased-- it handles the small letters (where I wonder if I need to put on one stamp or two) as well as packages I'm shipping out here at work. The unit sits right here on my desk; it's a very good unit, and I'm delighted that the price was also quite good.

Perfect mix of analog and digital
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I first bought one one these several years ago (I forgot exactly when) after I upgraded my ticket to General; it was my second HF rig, and an upgrade. But I gave that rig to my (also General class HAM) son during a move and during a period when I was inactive in the hobby.
But I missed HF, and when it came time to buy another rig, there was no doubt in my mind which one to buy... this one. Bought it on eBay a few weeks ago, set it up and started operating. Made my first two contacts on 17m using a portable antenna (I'm in a restricted community); both reported excellent signal and great audio. The internal antenna tuner works very well, as do the great series of pre-amplifiers and noise filters.
There are better, slicker (and more expensive) radios out there, but I really like this rig. I am having to learn it all over again, but the book does a great job of getting to the heart of the matter, helping me to look up what I need, or providing guidance when needed. I'm a professional technologist (computer industry for over 35 years) and the documentation is a CRITICAL component of any product-- ICOM does it right with this documentation.
In short-- I have no complaints. Only kudos.
