Great show.

If you're a Dr. Who fan, the eight season is one of the best. Clara is one of the best companions ever!!

Cheaper than Blu-Ray

Great HD-DVD player, even though they are now obsolete, but the HD-A3 does a good job as a upconverter so that we can watch our rather large collection of 'regular' DVD's on our 1080p TV. I'll wait until there's a little more competion for the Blu-Ray market rather than spend 3-400 bucks for a player.

Good choice for a low cost plasma.

Black screen not that great, but I knew that going in. For nighttime viewing it's great, but not so good if the room is well lit or the sun is shining on the screen. Good picture and refresh rate.
