Classic
Classic version of a classic novel - funny and dark. Beautifully cast with David Jason in the lead role of Skullion, the head porter in a fictional Cambridge college desperately trying to resist the 20th century.

A decent telly but not proper HD
Perfect for what I wanted - makes a great ordinary TV, hooked up to my Freeview box and Wii via the two SCART sockets. The screen is a good size for an ordinary sized living room: big enough but without dominating the room (the silver colour helps, too).
Note, though, that this is not really an HD telly - no HDMI, so you can only do high-res pictures from your PC - and even then the image is seemingly not quite the advertised 768 pixels high (I assume it's 720 native). The computer screen looks slightly pixelly, which is irritating for ordinary computer use but it does look good doing full-screen movie playback.

Still no sharks visible
You might think CSI had jumped the shark by now - and it's true some scenes are getting a little fishy - but we're still enjoying it.
Isn't Ted Danson lovely..
