Happy fish
My first external filter, easy to set up even though I had to cut the intake and the output pipes, because of their length - did not fit my 160 litres fish tank. But it was a simple job, heated up a knife with a lighter a it went through the pipes like a butter. I do not use the zeolite and carbon media, only the foams, own alfagrog media and the balls supplied. The water is clear and the fish are happy :)

Good
It does work, but it takes anywhere from about 3 weeks to months to work depending on levels of nitrates. I had 160+ppm of nitrates in a new tank and it took about 3 months with no water changes as there was no livestock in the tank. Now I have nitrates down to about 2.5ppm and do a weekly water change of about 10%. The media must be added continuously as it gets consumed while reducing nitrates.
