Lots of fun

Amazing game, reminds me of my childhood. A fun twist on battleship to build critical thinking and strategy. I loved it as a child and I love it as an adult. It comes in a convenient carry case, and is travel friendly if you have a ziplock for the pieces.

A good way to learn about wine.

I bought this book to supplement my learning in a wine Authority class I'm taking at work. It is well laid out, easy to follow, has interesting statistics and is enjoyable. It can help someone choose wine, learn more about wine and enjoy wine more. However, the vintages and statistics are a little bit outdated, of course. Most of the modern equivalent can be found online. Some new developments in world wine are missing, especially in New World wines, but notably in recent changes to French appellation. Overall, I would recommend this book, as an introduction or a supplement to other learning.

Asterix books are always a good choice

I used to read these books as a child, now I'm recollecting them. Asterix books are humorous and entertaining, and I will certainly be sharing them with my two stepdaughters (8 and 11). I also love the foreign language versions to brush up on/learn other languages.
